Peptide reconstitution calculator

Use your own vial, diluent, and syringe values to calculate concentration and draw markings.

User-provided values only · no dose, protocol, or injection recommendation.

Calculation setup

  2. 2Amount
  3. 3Syringe markings
Quantity only. This is not a dose recommendation.

This tool calculates from values you provide.

It does not determine what amount is appropriate for you. Mass, volume, biological potency, and physical syringe markings remain distinct, and rounding to the nearest physical marking is shown.

What this peptide calculator calculates

This is a math tool for values already provided to you. It does not decide how much to use, how often to use it, or what to inject.

Inputs
Vial amount and unit, diluent volume in mL, target amount and unit, and the syringe system, capacity, and marking step.
Outputs
Concentration, exact draw volume, exact syringe marking, nearest physical marking, represented amount, and the difference between them.
Units
Mass can be entered as mg or mcg. IU is kept as biological potency; mL is kept as volume. U-100 and U-40 are physical syringe scales.
Boundaries
Product-specific values remain user-provided. No dose, protocol, IU factor, or treatment decision is inferred by the tool.

Method

Concentration first, physical markings second.

The calculation divides the entered vial amount by the entered diluent volume, then uses that concentration to find the exact volume for the target amount. Syringe markings are calculated from volume and the entered markings-per-mL scale.

Concentration = vial amount ÷ diluent volume
Exact volume = target amount ÷ concentration
Syringe markings = volume × markings per mL

Precision and rounding

Exact and nearest-marking values stay visible.

Decimal arithmetic preserves the entered values. If the result does not land on the physical marking step you entered, the displayed nearest marking is labeled as rounded and the representational difference remains visible.

Calculator questions

Peptide calculator FAQs

What does this peptide reconstitution calculator calculate?
It uses the vial amount, diluent volume, target amount, and syringe settings you enter to calculate concentration, exact draw volume, exact and nearest syringe markings, and the difference created by rounding.
Does the peptide calculator recommend a dose or tell me what to inject?
No. Every amount and product value comes from you. The calculator does not choose a dose, protocol, timing, treatment, or injection decision.
Can it convert IU to mg or mcg automatically?
No. There is no universal IU-to-mass conversion. If you mix biological potency with mass, you must enter and confirm a product-specific factor that you already have; PeptideGrid never infers one.
What happens when the exact result falls between syringe markings?
The calculator shows the exact result, the nearest physical marking, the represented volume and amount, and the rounding difference. Review is required before saving a rounded result.

Keep the boundaries clear

A calculation is one part of an organized plan.

PeptideGrid keeps a quantity calculation separate from a plan, schedule, and recorded event. If you already follow a plan, choose the next explanation that helps you organize it. Nothing is created or prefilled from these links.
