- A peptide inventory tracker keeps user-entered supply details — vial or batch labels, batch IDs, recorded balances, dates, documents, and linked records — together as an ongoing history. PeptideGrid does this beside the records that used each batch. It does not measure what is physically left or decide what to use.
- Can I keep separate vial or batch records?
- Yes. Each batch is one physical supply you choose to track, with its own label, recorded balance, and history. Compatible records can link to a batch without merging separate supplies into one total.
- Does PeptideGrid know exactly how much is physically left?
- No. The remaining amount is a represented balance based on the starting quantity, recorded events, and adjustments you enter. PeptideGrid does not independently measure vial contents.
- How is this different from the Vial Supply Calculator?
- The Vial Supply Calculator answers a one-time projection: how far a user-provided supply may last on a schedule you enter. The inventory tracker is the ongoing record of individual batches, recorded changes, and linked history. A projection is not the same as a recorded balance.
- Does PeptideGrid decide when I should reorder?
- No. Inventory may note that a recorded balance looks low based on a threshold you set. That is organizational context, not a purchase, refill, or treatment recommendation.
