PeptideGrid remains fully usable in a normal mobile browser. PWA installation is optional.

Browser use

PeptideGrid is fully featured and responsive in standard modern mobile and desktop browsers. No installation is required.

Optional Setup

PWA app icon

Installing places an icon on your home screen or desktop launcher for standalone full-screen window access.

Platform installation instructions

iPhone and iPad

In Safari, use Share, then Add to Home Screen. If iOS shows Open as Web App, leave it enabled, then launch PeptideGrid from the new Home Screen icon rather than Safari. Delete and reinstall an older icon after manifest changes. Push support depends on the current browser and installation state.

Android

In Chrome, open the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen when available.

Desktop

Supported browsers may show an install icon in the address bar. Installation does not change where your cloud records are stored.
